Greetings from Miao!

I am delighted to know that you are celebrating the 10th year of establish-
ment of the Sacred Heart Knanaya Parish, Maywood, Chicago. I join
you all in thanking God for this. This first parish has given birth to so
many others and I am sure, many more will be on the way. I extend my hearty
congratulations to Fr. Mutholath and to each family in the parish.
Ten years of history is interwoven with ten years of bond with Miao Diocese
which is also just completing ten years of existence. I would like to sincerely
thank you all for the great help you have given. The number of churches, way-
side grottos and support to the seminarians are the most lasting signs of your
involvement in this Diocese. THANK YOU. The first of our seminarians from
our seminary will be ordained at the end of 2017.
Your hospitality and generosity each time I visited you and the visit some of
Rt. Rev. George you made to Miao and the young people who have come for short stays are last-
Pallipparambil SDB ing bonds that have bound us in the love of Jesus. You are always welcome to
come yourselves or to send the youth for a mission experience.
Bishop of Miao Your help and support has taken us a long way and helped us to grow as well
as to give sure signs of growth and universality of the church to the people of
this young church. In every village that you have helped and every seminarian
you supported, there will always be prayers offered for you all and your fami-
lies. Please do keep us in your prayers too so that we may never slow down or
stop our efforts at evangelization.
