Milestones

A home is a place where you belong, share, and care. With this context,
I proudly say I belong to Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Church in
Maywood. I get a homely feeling every time I enter the church.
Belonging to Sacred Heart means everyone is one, whole, big family. Part
of this family is my friends who are like my brothers and sisters. If I need
something, I don’t have to go to my parents. I feel free to approach anyone.
Whenever I enter the gate to Sacred Heart, Philip uncle and Joy uncle are
standing there to protect us like guardian angels. Moreover the presence of
James makes me feel really safe. When I enter the doors to my “home”, I see
uncles making coffee, aunties bringing food, and my friends reading the bul-
letin and chatting. Inside the church, I see many people helping Fr. Mutholath
to get everything ready for mass and the rest of them praying.
My favorite part of this church

Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Church in this world!
