The church has also helped me in my social life. I
have made many friends through the church. I play
with my friends after the Mass and CCD. All the
families in the parish are very close to one another.
Our parish community is like a close knit joint family.
The Koodarayogams at our parish are very nice
because we gather together and say prayers and
have fun. Koodadarayogams are a great place to get
to know each other.

I am very thankful to God for blessing us with our church. And a special thanks
to our spiritual father Rev. Fr. Abraham Mutholath who is the founder of this church.
It was his long term vision and leadership that made the dream come true for many
Knananites living in United States of America. I also remember Rev. Fr. Saji
Pinarkayil our past vicar, with deep gratitude. He encouraged me to come to week-
day Masses and helped me with altar serving. Thanks to all the other priests who
served at our church for their spiritual guidance and prayers.

know each other. We hang out together like we are one family, that is why this church
is like a second home to me.
I am so lucky that we got a church when I was born and I have been fortunate to
grow up with the church. It was a dream come true for many Knanaya people in
United States. As I grew up to be a pre-teen, the church on the other hand grew up to
be a Forane church, and the Mother church of all Knanaya churches in America. I am
also very thankful to all the people who helped to build our church and continue to
support the church with their dedicated services.
I am very fortunate to be a part of the Sacred Heart Family, My Second Home.
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus continue to bless our parish and everyone who serve
and worship here.
